It is difficult to find the right words for Elspeth. I will start by saying the she was a true lady in the best sense of the word. You could immediately see her fine upbringing and her good manners. But the most important thing was that her nature was a noble one. Her heart was full of kindness, gentleness and good will. She was such a pleasant company, her kind and considerate words, her subtle and inoffensive sense of humor, always making you feeling at ease as if you were surrounded by a light breeze. I will miss the cards she would send for my nameday or on another occasions, always acknowledging the slightest unimportant thing I might have done for her family, always finding the most considerate words to express her friendship. I wish I had the opportunity to spend more time with her. Unfortunately, I met her when her health has already started to decline. But still so many beautiful memories: our lunch in Eptastadion in Iraion, just the two of us, pledging that we would make it a habit since we had such a lovely time together. Her gifts from London, never forgetting my addiction to chocolate :). Me calling her on Christmas day and her replying in Greek "Chronia Polla". I will never forget that she called to express her sorrow when my dad passed away. That was really touching for these days were exceptionally hard for me. Last but not least, the joy and pride of her life: her three sons and their family. She was an excellent mother that had brought up three excellent sons. And this speaks tons of what kind of person Elspeth was Elspeth's body is not alive anymore. But souls is immortal. She is now in heaven with the angels. And she will always be with us. Dear Elspeth, we will meet again.
