Elspeth, I was so young when my mummy died, living in Ireland. I don’t remember how or why you took me in but you gave me unconditional love, kindness, warmth and a roof over my head- whilst the twirling world around me calmed so I could find my feet and make my new life in London.  It is frightening what you forget, as it was such a sad sad time for me but I can remember your kindness, not asking any questions, your gentleness, smiles and care. So thank you for your unconditional love, your laughter and may you now sleep like the angel you are. With love to all of you.  Sleep well Elspeth
